Sterling Talent Solutions Wins International HR Vendor Awards

We are very excited to announce that Sterling Talent Solutions was recently awarded “Best Background Screening Provider” as part of the 2016 HR Vendors of the Year Awards. Sterling received the silver award for Singapore and Hong Kong and the bronze award for Malaysia.

Sterling Talent Solutions began operating out of these offices earlier this year through our acquisition of RISQ Group, giving us a wider presence in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, including Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Mainland China. This acquisition was part of a multi-year strategy of domestic and global expansion, allowing us to add to our already significant operational capabilities around the world.

The HR Vendors of the Year Awards, organized by Human Resources Online and Evon Yew, the Regional Producer at Human Resources Magazine, is the largest event celebrating achievements by HR solutions providers in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. These awards are highly differentiated from other awards within the industry as the judging is done by human resource leaders within some of the regions’ biggest employers.

Our team was judged on the follow four areas:

  1. Product: Our strong investment in technology enhancements continues to increase the quality, stability and agility of day-to-day operations, while fueling faster, more reliable employment background checks, as well as stronger compliance and security measures for the 80+ million screens completed annually. The introduction of our SterlingONESM platform provides a simple user dashboard, intuitive workflow and document management, all while personalizing the candidate experience with seamless integrations.
  2. People: While we love the efficiencies that our technology provides us, we don’t hide behind computers all day. With 20 offices spanning nine countries, we are growing quickly and our employees are at the heart of helping us achieve our goals. It is our employee’s passion towards our mission, and the mission of our clients, that continues to spur our growth.
  3. Perspective: Running more than 80 million background checks per year across a diverse list of industries affords us a unique perspective on the needs of all of our customers. We put a lot of effort into our thought-leadership, on a global level, by covering a wide range of topics to familiarize customers with our brand. We aspire to be friendly, helpful and informative.
  4. Performance: Sterling is focused on strengthening our core business, while expanding our product, automating manual processes and continually innovating our technology, product, client experience and global offerings. Our client satisfaction scores continue to rise as we embed employment background screening and onboarding solutions into clients’ HR workflows through our strong partnership network with our ATS and HRIS partners.
