Sterling Talent Solutions Wins Global Sales Team of the Year Stevie Award
We are very proud to announce that Sterling Talent Solutions was recently awarded a Gold Stevie Award for Sales and Customer Service for Global Sales Team of the Year. The Stevie Sales and Customer Service Awards honors the world’s best in customer service, contact center, business development and sales professionals. The global sales award categories recognize sales teams whose industry, client or other focus has a global scope. Winning a Stevie Award is a great way to benchmark an organization’s achievements against others in the same industry. In 2015, the Sales and Customer Service Award attracted more than 2,100 nominations from more than 30 countries.
A Look at Our Sales Team
The Sterling Talent Solutions sales team includes over 140 sales representatives and 25 sales leaders at offices throughout the globe, including offices in New York, California, Colorado, Ohio, Mumbai and Manila. The sales team focuses on acquiring new clients while increasing our retention rate. Month over month, our team continues to drive more annual contract value than ever before for both enterprise and mid-to-small market sales.
Our sales teams go through a strenuous training process, regularly receiving training on a continuous basis with a strong focus on verticals. Across the globe, our team can capture inbound prospects coming from our website, lead generation efforts and content marketing strategy quickly and efficiently. The sales process is streamlined allowing our representatives to hit “hot” leads, ensuring we reach the right person at the right time. We recently restructured our sales team to provide more of a coach over boss mentality. Our leaders are crucial in mentoring new employees to help them get to the next level. The onboarding process for new sales team members has been redefined and has been a qualified success. The sales team also collaborates with the marketing team for account-based marketing and lead generation processes and strategies.
As the employee background screening industry continues to become more saturated, we are focused on strengthening our core business, while expanding our product, automating manual processes and continually innovating our technology, product, client experience and global offerings. Our global sales team is vital to Sterling Talent Solutions success now and in the future.
What are the Stevie Awards?
The Stevie Awards were created in 2002 “to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide.” There are seven Stevie Awards programs each with its focus, list of categories and schedule: The American Business Awards, the International Business Awards, The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, The German Stevie Awards, the Stevie Awards for Great Employers, The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service and The Stevie Awards for Women in Business. Clare Hart, CEO of Sterling Talent Solutions was awarded a 2016 Silver Stevie Award for Female Executive of the Year-Business Services-More than 2,500 Employees-Services Industries.
The awards are judged by a panel of more than 200 judges from around the world including executives, entrepreneurs, innovators and business educators. The entries go through a two-phase review process: preliminary and final. During the preliminary stage, each entry is reviewed and rated on a 1 to 10 scale. The preliminary stage is commented on by no less than five judges. All entries receiving a 7.0 rating will be designated as a finalist and eligible for final judging. During the final stage, the submissions are re-judged and scored by a separate group of judges. The finalist entry receiving the highest score after judging receives the Gold Stevie Award, the next highest is the Silver Award winner and the remaining finalists receive a Bronze Award status.
